Mouse macrophages with fatty acids
After each feed through the Automatic Cake Making Machine
,fold both ends of the pasta into the middle to overlap. Repeat this process on every number decreasing until you reach the desired thickness.Once you have your sheets to work with {30cm in length is good, by 10cm wide}. Make a fold in your sheets length ways to determine the center of the sheet.
Place the mixture of approximately 20-25 g filling along the length of the sheet on oneside. Leave a gap between the filling of about 2cm. Brush the pasta around the filling with a little water then fold over the other side of pasta.EPA and DHAare major polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, essential to a broadrange of cellular and bodily functions, and the primary ingredientin commercial fish oil dietary supplements.AA is a polyunsaturatedomega-6 fatty acid prevalent in the human diet.
In high levels, fatty acids are toxic, so cells typically sequesterthem as phospholipids in their membranes. When stimulated, however, the fatty acids may be released, provoking a cascading inflammatoryresponse. Acute or limited inflammation is, of course, a vitalimmunological response to physical damage or invasive pathogens. But chronic inflammation is harmful and a common element of almostevery disease, from diabetes to cancer.
After supplementing the mouse macrophages with fatty acids, thescientists stimulated them to produce an inflammatory response. They discovered that omega-3 fatty acids inhibit an enzyme calledcyclooxygenase (COX), which produces the prostaglandin hormonesthat spark inflammation. The action is similar to what happens whenone takes an aspirin, which disrupts the COX-2 signaling pathway, thus reducing inflammation and pain.
