Concept:
・A casual space for outdoor activities: Not permanent residence, enjoying de-forest & cabin construction, a base-camp for mountain climbing and visiting hot springs in Tokachi area, "Camp-fire can relax your mental condition"
・Energy- and cost-saving: Wooden decks: using recycled wood materials and cut-off trees there, Cabins: self-building, using recycled materials, Personnel: voluntary project members & students,
・Simple utilities: Available electric power line near there, available water from a creek (a well drilling project near future), wood-burning stoves, available hot springs near there (Memuro town or others), a conventional bio-toilet,
・Enjoyable facilities: Construction of 3 cabins in 3 years project (a mountain style, a casual style & a Japanese tea room on the tree)
・Enjoyable Tokachi: "the kingdom of gourmet", green-full environment, blue sky & beautiful stars, less snow in winter
Land & location:
Forest land of 1500 m2 (30m x 50m), in Asahiyama area, Shimizu-cho, Hokkaido, 15min from Tokachi-Shimizu IC, near the location used for NHK drama program "Natsu-zora"
Unsolved terms:
Limited physical manpower (it needs more young voluntary members, as well as old members), much smaller project(?), management & maintenance (?) (the members can use facilities with their own responsibility)
