The tennis serve is very sensitive

The reason why you look down is that your mind goes into the future. It matters only who wins. Since your wrist and your arm are not used to this change you need to start slowly.

When you play from the baseline you have a much bigger target. When your head moves during the stroke it pulls your arm too. Hit your serves with 25% speed at first. How much effort it takes to hit a ball with this speed. Serve 20 or 30 balls and know the end result - fast serve with no effort.

Start practicing with a continental grip.

Do not judge your results after 3 serves. That way your head will stay there too and you won't disrupt your serve. When that happens you disrupt your mind-body connection. Unless you become really really motivated - especially with matches lost to good players - you probably won't change it. Just decide and hit a few.

Hit above the net! Imagine your serve going above the net and into the court.

The most common problems with tennis serve are:

- forehand grip
- trying too hard - using too many muscles
- hitting a lot into the net
- looking down to the court before hitting the ball

Let's see how you can address these problems from the technical and mental aspect. If you play for points - competitively - it doesn't matter who makes less # mistakes. You may be missing the big picture here. More thorough explanation and tips on this common mistake are available only for my subscribers. The next step is learning a top spin serve and gradually implementing it in the game.The tennis serve is the most complicated stroke in the game. When you imagine your tennis serve in a straight line, you connect your point of contact and the place where you want to hit your serve with a straight line. This results in many mishits and mistakes. Notice the speed of the ball and how much you exert yourself. Focus on that and practice keeping your mind in the present moment- hitting the ball. Let your body figure this out. Practice them for a couple of weeks and you'll see a noticable improvement of your serve. Gently grip the racquet and focus on your feel.

Then gather all your courage and decide that from a certain day on you will never play your old serve again. If you try hard to hit a fast serve you contract too many contradictory muscles which work against each other.

Later serve your first serves with this grip and medium paced speed and use your safe serve for the second serve.

Stay with the ball until it disappears. This means that you probably can't hit it in the middle of the racquet and that you are not focusing on the ball anymore. It will improve. Hitting a lot into the net

The reason for this lies in your imagination. This is especially evident on the tennis serve since there is only a small window above the net where you must hit in order to keep the ball in the service box.

Now go further with this and decide that you want to hit faster with even less effort.

And one more tip - work on these serving tips until they work, don't just try these ideas for a couple of minutes. Now you're really on your way to good serving!

Another awesome game I love is chicken

Riding with your hands behind your back makes it more difficult to balance as well as eliminates anyone pushing with their hands, which could make the game dangerous.

There are tons of awesome games you can play on your Ripstik. Dribbling becomes very difficult so you can choose whether you need to dribble or not. If a rider passes the ball and the guy catching the ball steps off his board that is also a turnover. You can cruise the streets and you can do freestyle tricks, but you can also do some great individual and team games on the Ripstik. When you come to the end of your racing sections have your friend just use the same board to ride his portion of the race. This can be difficult because not everyone has lacrosse gear, but if you have lacrosse gear and a Ripstik this is a must to try. Ripstik hockey is played exactly like you would play hockey on your feet or even on roller blades. This great because for four people to race you only need two boards, or you can do six riders or even eight riders with just two boards. The goalie does not need to be on a Ripstik. To turn your racing into a team game, just make it into a relay race.
. Play to however many points you desire. This is just a straight lined race from point A to point B to see who the fastest rider is. Try to score on the other teams net to win the game.

Some great team games are Ripstik basketball, Ripstik hockey, or my personal favorite Ripstik Lacrosse. The last person on their board wins the point; play first one to three wins it all. Not solo games to do by yourself, but it is you against your buddies. Each rider starts riding and holds their hands together behind their backs. If a rider that has the ball falls off his Ripstik then the ball automatically gets turned over to the other team.

Another awesome game I love is chicken. Play with 3 per side and 1 goalie, if you drop the ball it is a scramble to see who can get the loose ball. I also love to do the sprint race. Be creative and most importantly have fun. First let us talk about the solo games. When everyone is ready someone says GO and the object of the game is to knock the other rides off their board. Last is Ripstik Lacrosse. The teams can be 1 on 1, 2 on 2, or however many riders you can get. Racing has endless possibilities to keep you and your friends having fun for hours.The Ripstik is a versatile board that allows you to do many things. Two ways to lose is if you get knocked off your board or you let go of your hands behind your back. Passing and shooting also become very difficult so you may want to start with no dribbling. Racing is always a classic.

When you race be creative and come up with parts of the race that you must do, like figure eights around two garbage can lids, or a part where you have to step your board over a broom stick, or perhaps a part of the course that is only skinny enough for one person to fit through. My favorite portion of a relay race is making two of the riders ride their part sitting on their butt coasting down a very gradual hill. In Ripstik chicken every rider must have a board. This experience had somehow

The first thing that my doctor asked me was to relate to him the circumstance when I first noticed having the headaches, then to describe the nature or characteristics of my headaches itself.It was two weeks ago when I first experienced having this really painful headache which lasted for almost half an hour. However, after the results came out that very same day, my doctor explained to me that my chronic headaches might be what are often known as tension headaches. It was then that I got alarmed by my situation and I immediately went to the hospital for a check-up.

This experience had somehow become a wake-up call for me. In the end, I was advised to correct my posture and change some of my positional habits at home and in the office. Fortunately, it was not too late for me to change. The doctor also suggested that a massage session will do me some good.

Basically, I was prohibited from slouching. To my surprise, however, the headaches keep coming despite my renewed habit of having enough time for sleeping. After some more questioning, he sent me to undergo some laboratory tests as well as to have my head scanned for a possible tumor, maybe. Getting a massage is a matter of life and death for me now, though that would obviously be a bit exaggerating. I would rather be more mindful of always having a proper posture. It was only after I had suffered the consequences that I learned how fragile my health is. I realized that I had been taking my health for granted.

Unfortunately, the headaches just would not go away. I always have to make sure that my posture is right when seated and while standing. I thought it was all because I lacked sleep the night before and I was already stressed with work. I especially liked the part of being prescribed to have a massage. I decided to take a pain killer that time and was relieved immediately after an hour. I thought it was all because of the high level of stress I usually experience at the office which made me decide to take that much deserved one week leave. The massage is indeed the best prescription I have received by far, that is aside from the Butalbital that has largely contributed to relieving the pain immediately. I told my superior that I had to go home early that day so I can have enough sleep and avoid having those headaches again.
