Whether it's a blunt fringe, short layers, dip-dye or a whole new shade of hair, the new year has brought with it the perfect opportunity to test out the most coveted hairstyles and hair trends sported by celebrities and street-style stars. Here’s what hairstylists and colourists predict would be the biggest hair trends of 2018.

The Bardot fringe

This year, ask for the 'Brigitte Bangs' – 'bangs' meaning a fringe to the non-American folks – which has been sported by the likes of Chloe Grace Moretz, Penelope Cruz, Taylor Swift, Goldie Hawn and many of our favourite Indian and Pakistani celebrities as well. The modern bob

While the bob will continue to be a firm favourite this year, we should expect to see it with a modern twist. Now, this is a trend you should get onboard with.
