When 34-year-old Yvonne Gorman decided to tie the knot she had no idea how she would get her bridal party to the venue... so they caught the bus.
Yvonne and 13 guests, which included her dad, bridesmaids and several South African family members, jumped on the i4 trentbarton bus from Chaddesden to Derby's Council House chambers on the morning of her big day in December last year.
Now, Yvonne has become part of an advertising campaign with her face being used on the back of the bus she caught to her wedding. The unusual journey proved a perfect way to reach husband Jim Lease to say those all-important wedding vows.
The businesswoman, who owns Essential Print Services based in Pride Park, said she decided to take the bus when she was faced with finding a way of carting all of her guests to the venue from her home in Chaddesden.

She said: "I just thought to myself, what vehicles are available to get all of these people from one place to another and knowing the bus can pick you up right outside your house and take you right to the council house, seemed like the right thing.
"I kept it a secret from everyone apart from my husband-to-be. He thought I was completely crazy.
"I just told my guests that we had to be outside my house for a certain time, and everybody kept asking whether it was a massive limousine or something picking us all up."
Yvonne said that while the bridal party was stood at the bus stop, drivers were stopping to chat and beeping their horns, which she says was a "thrilling" experience.
"The bus driver's face when we got on with a picture," she added.
"He must have thought 'what on earth is going on here'. And my dad trying to negotiate the bus fare was just hilarious.
"We sang songs on the way, people were giving me wedding advice and one elderly couple said that it was the best bus ride they had ever had."
Yvonne, who got married on December 10 last year, said after the wedding she contacted trentbarton after seeing people's faces on the back of the buses describing how they used the buses and why.
"The day happened and it was a fantastic day but when the wedding was over all you've got are the photographs and memories," Yvonne said.
"It all started dying down but now it has stirred it all back up again and people are talking about it. It makes me smile and every time I see the bus go past my house I have a look to see if it's me on there.
