Natalia Vodianova has put LVMH prize semifinalist, designer Dilara Findikoglu, in the spotlight. The supermodel wore a bold red dress by the young Turkish talent to her 35th birthday party last night in Paris. According to Vodianova’s Instagram, she had discovered Findikoglu’s look at the LVMH prize celebration for the 21 semifinalists the day before her birthday celebration. At the last minute, she chose to wear the piece over a slinky, red Alexandre Vauthier dress.

The dress was from Findikoglu’s Central Saint Martins’s 2015 graduate collection. “It represented Eve’s Garden of Eden,” wrote the designer via email. According to Findikoglu, the dress took nearly three weeks to make and includes materials such as pony skin and crocodile-embossed patent leather. As for the embellishments cascading down the front of the coat, those are real flowers—orchids, roses, and leucospermum—that have been chemically preserved. Findikoglu is known for her subversive views on feminism and religion, and made some provocative additions to the dress: casts of nipples and a vagina made out of epoxy resin were among the flowers that decorated the look.
This isn’t the first time a celebrity has worn a piece from Findikoglu’s collections. Others include Grimes, FKA twigs, and model Adwoa Aboah. And given that Vodianova shared her adoration for the up-and-coming designer to her 1.3 million followers on Instagram, it surely won’t be the last.

A bride has finally been reunited with her wedding photos – SIX YEARS after they were taken by a photographer who vanished following her big day.
Charlotte Oliver, 32, paid £2,500 for an award-winning snapper to take pictures of her tying the knot to husband David in 2011.
But despite coming highly recommended, Royce Yeacoob “vanished off the face of the earth” with the snaps days after they wed.
Now, six years – and two children later – she has finally received her wedding pictures after an emotional Facebook post went viral.
Charlotte said: “Social media was the last resort for us, but we had tried everything.

“This man just vanished off the face of the earth. It was like he’d managed to delete all trace of him.
“All I wanted was the pictures of my wedding day, it’s something special which you can’t recreate.
“I can’t thank people enough for the support they gave us, sharing my post.
“I never dreamed after six years we’d be seeing our pictures, it feels like he finally found his heart.”
Charlotte and David, a bricklayer, saved for years to raise the cash to have their big day photographed.
They picked Royce because he was a prestigious Kodak award winner and forked out £2,500 to hire him for the day, and have their choice of 60 pictures made into a wedding album.
But shortly after tying the knot on August 20, 2011, former soldier Royce disappeared with no word as to their wedding pictures.
They had suspicions he had moved to Germany but were unable to track down any contact details for him.
Instead, the couple were left with poor quality snaps by family and friends – one of which featured Royce taking a treasured snap.
Charlotte, an administrator, said: “His website disappeared, his contact numbers didn’t work and he was no longer at his home address.
“We felt like we had totally been taken for a ride, but it wasn’t like we hadn’t done our homework.
“We researched this guy and he had won awards and came highly recommended.
“I didn’t want to stop at anything to get my pictures back. We had to work hard to earn the money to pay for them and the rings.
“They were the two most important to us because alongside the memories, they’re the two things you have to remember your wedding day by for the rest of your lives.
“Over the years I’ve tried every means I could think of this trace him, to no avail.”
As a last resort, Charlotte posted a picture of Royce with an emotional appeal, which read: “DO YOU KNOW THIS MAN?????
“Royce is a professional photographer who my husband and I hired to take photos of our special day in August 2011.
“Royce was recommended to us by a friend and after seeing his work, we were sold.
“Our wedding day passed without a glitch however after our wedding we understand Royce has since moved to Germany without leaving any forwarding details.
“We’re not well off but both worked extremely hard and saved for a number of years to give us the best day possible.
“After paying £2500 for our album, we have been trying to contact Royce for a number of years to get the photos we have paid for, but without reply, and we have all but given up hope.
“We are absolutely devastated as it was such an amazing day and we are absolutely heartbroken at the thought we will never get our photos which captured the moment.
“Please please please can you share this and help us find Royce so we can have more than just the memories of our special day to share with our children as they get older.
“Thank you.”

How to Officiate Your Friend’s Wedding

Congrats! You’ve been asked by your friends to officiate their wedding! As with many in these days and ages, friends turn to friends to help them mark that special occasion, preferring a tried-and-true pal over a reverend or professional officiant. This is a tremendous honor I was fortunate to fulfill for not one but two very different and wonderful weddings, and I learned a few things along the way.
You can become an officiant speedily and freely online, and then it is up to you to file the marriage license within 10 days to the County Clerk at our beautiful S.B County Courthouse. Be very careful not to make any errors on the license, as penmanship mistakes will result in a fine and a new license will need to be filed; the same goes for coffee or beverage stains. The California Department of Public Health has a FAQ section about wedding laws on their website, and you’d do best to review it.

Officiating a wedding is an important responsibility as you are legalizing a marriage, so you must follow the law. In many cases, you will also be sanctifying the union in a religious way, so you may have to consider and follow the religious rites.
Beyond the rules and laws, you should be as individual as possible. No one needs clichés about love or the same old statements about compromise and patience; think of your friends’ marriage as a unique love story. Maybe it’s the journalist in me, but I’d suggest just talking to or even interviewing them as a couple, learning their story — how they met and why they’re choosing to officially combine their life journeys, and what they love about one another. And remember, you must have a reservoir of great memories of times shared with your friends, times of abundant love and friendship — this is a chance to talk about what they’ve taught you about love and what they’ve learned from each other.
Last, write out your speech in advance, and take time to practice, ensuring these important words runs smoothly on the actual day. Amanda Seyfried won’t be having a white wedding.The “Mean Girls” actress said she doesn’t want a traditional wedding dress when she marries fiancé Thomas Sadoski."I got married so many times in my life — on screen!” Seyfried, 31, told Vogue Australia, according to Us magazine. "I don't want a white dress! I've worn so many of them. You know what I mean? The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment."Seyfried and Sadoski got engaged in September after dating for six months.
The actress’ rep confirmed in November that Seyfried is pregnant with her first child.
The couple met while working together on the play “The Way We Get By” in 2015, then reunited on the set of the 2016 movie “The Last World.”
"I don't want to be the center of attention," Seyfried told Vogue Australia. “I get to go to premieres and get dressed up all the time. I went to the Met Gala last year in a wedding gown designed by Riccardo Tisci; I've played a bride a billion times.”

Could it be any more romantic than to get hitched in the most dreamy setting with monsoon as the background? Well, our TV celebs are certainly making good use of this year’s heavy showers to get tie the knot! While people did call this year a jinx with respect to relationships breaking apart, we can’t ignore the fact that so many couples even got married! From Karan Singh Grover-Bipasha Basu to now Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, we’ve witnessed a lot of marriages this year. And adding names to the list, we now have Sambhavna Seth and her boyfriend of five years, Avinash Dwivedi!
